Midwest Electric Products offers over 58 years experience in manufacturing outdoor NEMA 3R weatherproof electrical equipment . Since our founding in 1945 we have grown from making transformers and remote controls to one of the largest manufacturers of A/C disconnects in the USA. Our RV products are recognized the world over and have become the industry standard with more units in service than any other brand. Throughout the years, we have continually added to our product line with products like temporary power units, power inlets and power outlets, service entrance units for new home construction, meter sockets, marina pedestals, unit sub-stations and our innovative A/C disconnects with built-in GFCI receptacles.

Since 1975 we have been a wholly owned subsidiary of GE. With the resources and technology support GE has to offer, Midwest Electric will be here to support you in the years ahead. Whether you require standard off-the-shelf products or custom engineered units, we have the manufacturing resources and internal support to assist you. The legacy of our founder, Jack Habinger, lives on with our commitment to manufacturing the very best products, without compromising safety or quality.

We invite you to contact one of our over 2200 distributors in the USA for information on any of our products. Our group of independent manufacturers reps are some of the most recognized agencies in the electrical industry bringing you years of knowledge and expertise to assist you in determining the applicability of a product for your application or in the engineering of a new one.

Our years of success however would not have been possible if not for the loyalty and dedication of the employees here at Midwest, many of whom have been here for over 30 years! From the factory floor to our dedicated customer service representatives we are committed to making your purchasing experience with Midwest as easy as possible. While technology and business practices have changed since Jack started in 1945, Midwest Electric Products still provides you with the best possible quality product. Take a look at our product offering, contact a distributor and ask for the "Duck"!
